Our work is grounded in locally informed practice and respectful partnerships with mana whenua, communities, land managers, Crown agencies, and researchers, enabling us to work effectively across cultural, scientific, and operational contexts.
We respond to changing environmental and social conditions with flexible, informed, and adaptive strategies that support both ecological integrity and human wellbeing.
What we do
At Living Tree, we have decades in accessing and studying this dynamic zone through safe, science-informed, and culturally grounded practices.
These living resources are essential for understanding genetic diversity, disease resistance, and species resilience—and for restoring native ecosystems across Aotearoa.
