Fredrik has been working closely with kauri for the past 9 years. Recently he and his team spent two months collecting kauri cone seeds for 14 different iwi from the top of the North Island down to Tauranga. After collecting millions of seeds these are sent to Scion where they are tested to ensure they are free of disease and stored in refrigerators to be planted in the future.
